Her performances at the open-air theatre propelled Robyn into the local limelight resulting in many wedding performances as well as becoming headlining entertainment for numerous prestigious events and she continued to grow in popularity.

 

Robyn trained in musical theatre for many years whilst having vocal coaching in classical music by accredited specialist Susan Hartley (Scarborough Academy of Music). Who confirmed the soprano status of Robyn’s voice pushing her into building on her vocal and genre adaptability. Robyn was an integral part of performing, teaching and coaching at her local YMCA theatre having regular solo performances as a stalwart of different performing schools in and around the area. 

 

Living in Leeds opened up many opportunities for Robyn, giving her gigs around the city whilst developing and enhancing her current skills under the guidance of lecturers.

 

Robyn was a soprano for the newly found Leeds College of Music contemporary choir run by Craig A. Lees (BA (Hons), MA (Dist.). The choir has recently performed alongside Marc Almond in October 2015 and again at the Royal Festival Hall, London, Uk in July 2016.

 

Robyn is also a soprano for new vocal group Leeds Contemporary Singers who debuted on the BBC One program Pitch Battle in June 2017 and went on to win the show in their live final in July 2017.

 

Now based back in her hometown of Scarborough, Robyn is available for bookings of weddings and any type of private functions in 2017 around North Yorkshire.

 

Robyn Keech is a passionate singer, songwriter and overall performer based in North Yorkshire, UK. Juliet Russell from Voice Council magazine recognised Robyn and her original music with having a “Distinctive sound and good dynamic range.”

Having opened for artists Leona Lewis and Katherine Jenkins during her debut year at Europe’s largest open air seated theatre in Scarborough in 2013, Robyn went on to study popular music and performing at degree level at Leeds College of Music and graduated in July 2017.
